Spending time with Lee is always a treat—he can converse brilliantly on a wide range of subjects—but he is never more in his element than when he’s talking about art. And as I am posting this within the first few minutes of my 43rd birthday, I stand before you balanced right on the fulcrum of my very existence. I wrote the stories myself, I drew the illustrations, stapled them together, and kept them on my bookshelf.
