About “The Native Star”

Delightful Extras

Bookplates

Would you like a signed copy of “The Native Star” or “The Desired Poison“? Well, you can’t have one. Not yet, at least. But when the books do come out (in 2010), you have a couple of options. You can track me down at a convention or local event, where I will be happy to accommodate your request.

Don’t get out much? Never fear! You can order a signed bookplate, as shown below. These are 3″ x 3″, designed to fit elegantly within a mass-market paperback. They’re printed on brown kraft paper, and trimmed with a pinking shears to give them a really nifty zig-zagged edge.

You’ll note that I’m asking for a buck to send these along. What, do you think I’m doing this for my health? But for that buck, I’ll send you up to 6 bookplates (like, say, if you want one of each.) Just drop me a note when you check out.

These are not self-stick! Perish the thought! To affix them to your book, you’ll have to get ahold of a good old-fashioned pot of rubber cement or mucilage. But really, haven’t you been looking for an excuse to buy some mucilage? Admit it.
