So last night daughter and I drafted her corset pattern. Well, actually daughter drafted her corset pattern, I was tired and I don’t know if I was really much help. She worked out all the maths & curves & gridlines and stuff. I just helped her get accurate measurements. And she did a wonderful job, and she now has a set of pattern pieces that definitely seem to resemble the corset pattern pieces I’ve worked with before, so yay! On the other hand, we haven’t actually done any cutting, sewing, or fitting yet, so this could still turn out to be an unmitigated disaster. Stand by for updates.
