      The particular shade of purple makes me think that it’s probably a “second year” mourning dress (after the first year, a lady could move away from all black and add a bit of color back to the wardrobe.) But in any case, I think I’m going to do the dress in black. I need a nice, basic, sparkly black dress. ;-)
