Here’s the deal. It’s time to find my boyfriend “Felix” a new forever home. As you recall, I found Felix in a box near the Clackamas River—scratched up, three-quarters starved and massively flea-ridden. I took him to the vet, got him de-flea-ed, and have been feeding him copiously for the past few months. Now he is a lovely boy, fat, sleek, rejuvenated … and it’s time for him to go.
Why? Well, first of all he has never made peace with my original cats. By which I mean he stresses them out constantly, growling at them, chasing them, etc. It’s to the point where I hardly ever see my grey mackerel tabby Bam Bam anymore. Second, my husband HATES this cat. Words cannot describe the vast depths of hatred my husband has for this cat. This cat does not foster domestic harmony within the Hobson household in any way shape or form.
As I’ve posted before, Felix is an incredibly sweet and affectionate cat. Our best guess is he’s about 2 years old. He’s fixed, we know that, but I don’t know anything about what shots he may have had (I’m guessing, though, since he’s fixed that the owners probably got him his shots, too.) He would be best off in a house where he could be an *only* cat. He wants to be the center of one special person’s attention. So I thought I’d put the call out to my fList first … anyone in the Oregon/Washington area want to meet Felix with a few toward Catrimony? (oh hah hah I am so clever.) Please let me know.
Anyway, here are some pictures of the handsome brute. He really is an incredibly loving and sweet cat, he’s just not the right fit for us.
