I twittered a congratulations to Ekaterina Sedia on her World Fantasy Award for “Paper Cities”, but I also want to send a special shout out to winner Richard Bowes, who won for his story “If Angels Fight”, which originally appeared in F&SF. As you can see from the picture on the right (where we share an intimate moment tete-a-tete) Rick and I are like *that*.
(Seriously, though. Congratulations, Mr. Bowes, and to all the winners!)
A more full con report will follow, hopefully with photos (if I can collect them.) I am simply too fashed at the moment, and too busy watching old Prisoner episodes. Be seeing you!
(P.S. — photo credit to Ellen Datlow. Aren’t all the best ones by her?)

Sorry to have missed you!
It was a strange con for missing people … there were a lot of folks I didn’t even see once!
How did your bad-odor panel go? Was the exchange of wit refreshing?
The bad odor panel went well. I had more to say than I thought I would, but it was a constant battle trying to get a word in edgeways. But hey, I didn’t raise a stink about it.
I hope I can find photos of my Hallowe’en costume to post … it turned out pretty extravagant!!
I am simply too fashed
Rise and shine!
Rise and shine!
Be thankful for another day!
Why thank you.
In my busy life I sometimes forget all the moments of intimicy!
It’s clear from the photo that you and I were connecting on a deep metaphysical level. I can’t think how you’d forget that.
